ESD Training for Engineers and Technicians

The single most important element in an ESD Control Program is training. If the engineers and technicians do not appreciate the reasons for the control program elements, they will not follow them. If the production workers do not know why the program is needed or its importance, they will not follow it.
Larry Levit has delivered hundreds of seminars and training courses on ESD control programs on three continents. He is proud of the fact that professional organizations have invited him back year after year. Many companies have used him to train production workers year after year.
One reason for his success in training stems from his experience as a university professor teaching both highly technical courses to engineers and scientists as well as teaching fundamentals to non technical students.
The training can present information on static control on a production floor or in a cleanroom. A presentation can cover the subtitles of ESD control in a process tool, in automated test equipment or in a mini environment. Often it is important to understand how an ionizer interacts with the process itself. This subject can be part of the training course.
